Michael Swanson, Sr., 54, of Maplewood, MN, died February 6, 2022 at Regions Hospital.

Michael was born in Washington to Barbara and Charles Swanson, Sr. He lived in Wisconsin for many years and was an ‘85 graduate of Superior High School. He taught math in middle and high school, recently at Hazel Park Academy in St. Paul, MN.

Michael was a man who loved the Lord, his family, the Seattle Mariners, and board games. He instilled the love of those things in his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Johnson and Charles Swanson, Sr.

Michael is survived by his wife of 34 years, Theresa; sons, Michael Jr. (Angelia), Matthew (Amber), Terrell (Senia), Terence, and Terrick (fiancee, Alysse); daughters, Melanie, Madelyn, Teressa, Meadowe, and Tuesday; step parents Harold and Diane Olson; sisters, Sheryl and Linda; brothers, Chuck, Dan, Steve, and Jamie; seven grandchildren; and baseball game buddy, sister-in-law, Sami.
