In Memory of Miaoji Gao （追思纪念高淼继）

Miaoji peacefully and naturally passed away on January 23, 2025 in the comfort hospice care in Maplewood, MN. （高淼继平和自然地于2025年一月二十三日在明尼苏达枫树林城临终关怀下归主，歇了在世的工。）

He was born on August 12, 1944 in Zibo, Shandong province of China. He grew up in a large and loving family of 3 sisters and one brother. He raised one son and one daughter with his wife together. Miaoji immigrated to the United States in 2017 after his wife passed away in China. He was brave moving without knowing English. （他于1944年8月12日出生在中国山东省的淄博市。他在一个有3个姐妹和1个兄弟的大家庭中长大，充满了爱。他和妻子一起扶养了一个儿子和一个女儿。2017年，淼继在妻子去世后移民到美国。他很勇敢地在完全不懂英语的情况下来到美国。）

Miaoji is a very kind and loving person with a grateful heart. He always talk about the friends that have helped him greatly decades ago and think of ways to show appreciations. （淼继是一个非常善良和充满爱心的人，心怀感恩。他总是谈论几十年前帮助过他的朋友，并思考并实施感激之情。）

Miaoji always loved reading and even writing. He subscribed some novel magazines and collected several hundreds of various books when he is young. Many friends and coworkers borrowed books from him and think his collection is a good library. （淼继一直热爱阅读甚至写作。他在年轻时订阅了一些小说杂志，并收藏了几百本各种书籍。许多朋友和同事向他借书，并认为他的收藏是一个很好的图书馆。）

Miaoji is survived by his son, his daughter in law; his daughter and son in law and 3 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons in law and 1 great grand son. （淼继的身后留有一个儿子，一个儿媳；一个女儿和女婿，三个孙子，四个孙女，两位孙女婿和一个曾孙。）

He is preceded in death by his wife, his old brother and his 3 old sisters. He is in Heaven with Jesus Christ now. He will be greatly missed but his love will be in our hearts forever. （他的妻子、他的大哥和他的三个姐姐在他之前去世了。现在他与耶稣基督在天堂里。他会被深深怀念，他的爱也将永远在我们心中。）
