Melvin Olvin “Buddha” Kucera, 59, Park Rapids, MN passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Melvin was born December 3, 1962 to Edward and Anita (Budreau) Kucera in Minneapolis, MN. While attending high school in Park Rapids, Melvin met Candy Palmer. They moved to Minneapolis where they were married and where their three boys Matthew, Jeffery and Kyle were born. In the early 90’s they moved back to Park Rapids.

Melvin was employed at R.D.O. for over 20 years.

Melvin is survived by his sons, Matthew Kucera, Jeffery Kucera, and Kyle Kucera, all of Park Rapids; sister, Cheryl (Larry) Rossow; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anita; siblings, Marian Johnston, Leroy Kucera, Leslie Kucera; granddaughters, Abagail and Eve.
