LOVING MOTHER, SISTER, and FRIEND

Melissa Schrader not only miraculously survived a severe collision with an 18-wheeler, and fought (like only the best could do!) through learning how to walk, talk, eat, etc., Amazingly, she overcame it ALL!! 🥰 Out of nowhere, she was told she had metastatic breast cancer. She fought SO HARD to overcome it with that same style, fervor, and determination that only she had, she again, fought EIGHT years of chemo, right alongside the children, ages 15, and 10!

In those rare times she would reach out to me, nothing was ever about "her". She worried she was somehow "shorting" her kids. She would be so angry at times because she wouldn't be lucky enough to see her kids graduate.

Melissa is, was, and always will be missed dearly by those not only in her family, but also by many who were lucky enough to know her.

A little bit more about Melissa

Melissa ALWAYS found humor as she lived each of her days. Her smile was infectious, and her true heart, and love for animals was something to behold.

When she was barely able to move around, you could always find her talking with her "piggies", and insisted on sharing the (entire room) plans she had, so they'd have more room!

She always wanted "more" for those she loved! Anything, amd everything ALWAYS came before her needs. I don't doubt that she's dancing on the clouds in heaven with, not only Jesus, but also her best, most favorite dad, and the guinea pigs now playing the piano for her.
