Maynard was a loving, caring man with a wonderful personality. He loved everyone.

Dad

Maynard Austin Newville born May 1, 1937, age 87 of Bloomington, MN, passed away July 15, 2024 peacefully in his sleep.

Preceeded in death by his wife Susan Marie Newville.

His parents Cassius and Clara Newville.

Siblings, Jane Berthilson, Gerald Newville, Clarence Newville, Barbara Torkelson, Mildred Wittstock, Luella Jarchow, Alvin Newville and Milton Newville.

Grandchild Brianna Hoer.

He is survived by his children Timothy Newville (Lissa Larson) Constance Newville and Matthew Newville.

Grandchildren Nik, Amber and Alex.

Great Grandchildren Elijah and Caspian.

Sisters Judi Boettcher, Elaine Urista and Cyndee Cummins. Many nieces and nephews.

He went to Northwestern College and graduated in 1955.

He served in the Army before he met and Married Susan Marie Peters June 9, 1963.

He worked at the Veteran's administration until his retirement.

Maynard resided in Bloomington, MN until he moved to St. Paul Aug 2023.

Our house was always open to the neighbor kids who thought of our house as a second home and always enjoyed spending time there. Many wonderful memories of house parties on the holidays, birthdays and other special events.

Dad enjoyed Bowling, Horseshoes, planting tulips in the garden, going to see Tim race his car, he loved to talk to everyone.

He enjoyed watching polka spotlight everyday. Even when he couldn't see the TV, he liked to have his polka on TV.

Dad loved playing Santa Claus and the kids loved seeing him around the apartment building in his Santa Suit.

Mom and Dad made many friends through the years at the apartment.

Dad was loved by many. You could talk to him about anything.

He was the best father in the world.

Dad is with Mom now.

I will miss him every day.
