A loving husband, brother, father, and the world's best grandpa

Mathew "Mat the Rat" Ruff, age 87, of SE Minneapolis, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 12th, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly “Sunshine” Ruff. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Jeanette Christie Larson, Billy, and Bobby; children: Tony, Karen (Bob) Johnson, Beth (Jeff) Birr, John (Bridget), and Kelly; grandchildren: Jennifer (Jordan), Anna (Kalvin), Malorie (Bill), Hailey, Lukas (Ashley), Izaac, Delaney, and Reiley; four great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 6th from 10-11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Lourdes Place, Minneapolis, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Luncheon to follow.
