About Mary

Mary Elizabeth Malecha (Young) was born October 30, 1964 to Louise and John Young in New Jersey. She passed June 17, 2023 with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was a loving, generous, devoted girlfriend, grandmother, mother, sister and friend. Mary loved nature, camping, animals, spending time with family and friends. She was an avid rock collector. A woman that loved deeply, with patience and grace whose presence will be extremely missed.

Mary is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Stepfather Bob, her brother Marc, grandson Blake and dog Milo. 

Mary is survived by Steve Lumley, daughter Mindy(Nick), son Mike Jr. (Ashley), grandchildren, Jade, Michael, Matteo, Morgan, Gabriella, Malania, Esella, brothers Bobby (Jill), John (Janet), Steve (Pam) and many close friends and family.

Celebration of Life will be held In September. Mary loved the fall!
