Loving Mother,Wife, And Nanny

Mary Elise Craig, a loving Mother, Nanny and Aunt, joined her husband in Heaven Saturday, April 9th 2022 Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday April 14th 2022 at Lakeside Church, followed by memorial service with friends and family at her home. Mary was born June 4, 1948, to Hubert and Bertha Browne in Alba, Texas. She was married to Otis Lee Craig and enjoyed raising her boys, cooking and being a devoted homemaker. She was a longtime member of Lakeside Church. As a godly woman, she opened her arms to anyone who came to her door. She was preceded in death at the gates of Heaven by her husband Otis Lee Craig; her sister, Gene Witt Flippin. Survivors: Sons, Alvin Lee Craig and wife, Leesa, of Grapevine, Michael Craig and wife, Fern, of Azle and David Craig and wife, Kathy, of Russellville, Ark.; brother, Weldon Brown and wife, Jane; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations be sent to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA).
