Mary Elise Anglesburg, 83, of Bemidji, MN, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at Havenwood Care center.

She was born on July 3, 1938 in Duluth MN to Leroy and Mary (Hannan) Edberg. Mary grew up in Orr Minnesota and attended school in Duluth. Her studies at the College of St. Scholastica were cut short by a tragic auto accident that shaped the rest of her life.

After a long and painful recovery, she met and married Theodore (Ted) Anglesburg in Orr, MN on October 15, 1960. They were happily united in marriage for 54 years before his passing in September of 2014.

In 1960, she moved with him to the Bemidji area where they managed Green Acres Resort on Turtle River Lake. Here she enjoyed entertaining guests, neighbors and family and was an active member of the Port Hope homemaker's club.

Mary embarked on a new career in 1980 as a Nurse's Assistant at North Country Rehab center, where she personified a lifelong commitment to the care of others that was born of her strong faith and personal experience.

She is survived by her Son, Gregory (Kimberly) Anglesburg of Bemidji and her Grandchildren, Jennifer and Alex Anglesburg.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Bemidji, MN.
