Loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend

Mary, 81 of Burnsville, MN, formerly of Melrose Park, IL passed away on February 27, 2021 at her daughter’s home after a short cancer illness. Mary is survived by her family. She was a loving mother to Laura (Chris), grandmother to Michele (Aaron), Matt (Becky) and Chris. Great grandma to Lane. And an aunt to many. She was a special friend to so many. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill McMahon (1995) and her second husband Fred, by her mother Rose, father Sam, brother Frank (Binky), Josephine (Gordon), and Sam Jr.

Mary had so many friends and loved talking and spending time with them. She loved the warm weather and being by the ocean. She is going to be greatly missed.

Mary’s cremains will be put to rest at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL next to Bill. This will happen at a later date TBD.

In lieu of flowers please give to St. Jude or your local Lions Club.
