Mary Catherine Robinson, of Louisville, KY, passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 90 in Hardinsburg, KY. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be remembered for her love of family and faith.
Mary was born in Owensboro, KY to John Wiley and Mamie Osborn Wiley and attended Owensboro High School. She enjoyed the outdoors and became a state champion in archery. A retired Jefferson County Public School bus driver and an active member of Fern Creek Baptist Church, she loved helping children and building community; she often taught Sunday school lessons, volunteered to help organize church activities, and attended mission trips. She also loved music, reading, and caring for animals.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Beard, her second husband, Robert Robinson, and her son, Ralph Beard. She is survived by her children Pamela (Jerry) Spencer, Tony (Deena) and Eric Beard, grandchildren Scotty (Crissy) Spencer, Dustin (Heather) Spencer, Michael (Tri) Spencer, Hannah (Seth) Hall, Nathan (Kayla) Beard, Aaron Beard, and Hallie (Sean Welch) Beard, as well as seventeen great grandchildren.
