Proud father and skilled craftsman

In loving memory of our dad, Martin Tschida, 70, who passed away on January 13, 2026. He was a proud father of 3, a grandfather of 7 and great-grand father of 5. Whether it was for his job or a hobby, Martin spent his life working with his hands as a mechanic, machinist, carpenter, woodworker and gardener.

Known as a consummate goofball who rarely took a serious photo, he valued having fun with those closest to him. He loved his pets almost as much as his family and had a deep passion for music as evidenced by his extensive album and CD collections. He was a life-long fan of the North Stars and Wild teams, the Twins, and all types of racing.

He is survived by his 3 children, Christy, Marty, Jenny and their spouses; his brothers Keith and Richard; his sister Elaine; his sisters-in-law Suzanne, Micki and Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lorraine; his brothers Al, Roger and Ron and sister Janet.
