Marty Pirjevec

Marty Pirjevec was the second son and fifth of six children born to Bernie and Barb Pirjevec in Eveleth MN. Marty graduated from Grand Rapids MN High School in 1981. He played college hockey at Miami of Ohio and later attended the U of M. He was a commercial construction supervisor and his beautiful detailed mind was an asset to his work. Marty's love for hockey in his youth, high school and college was carried on as an adult as a youth hockey coach. He had many close bonds with those whom he shared his love of hockey. Along with hockey, football and other sports Marty had a love of the outdoors, especially fishing.

Marty is survived by his siblings, two brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews. Two sons, two grand daughters and a special aunt and uncle and many cousins. Marty had many close friends and loved them deeply. He will be surely missed by his two canine companions, Frotzy and Olaf.

Per Marty's wishes, no funeral is planned.
