Martha Maria Riehl

Martha Maria Riehl, age 72, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 at Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN following a courageous battle with cancer that lasted for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Exsaferius and Mary Riehl. She is survived by her brother Larry Riehl and sister-in-law Betsy Riehl of Battle Ground, WA and nephews David Riehl of Eden Prairie, MN and Peter Riehl of Colorado Springs, CO.

Martha was born in Bismarck, ND and grew up on the family farm near Raleigh, ND. After high school she attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND. During her marriage to Wayne Tobeck they were transferred to Minneapolis, MN where she was employed by Cosmet Optical Lens Company as a quality control inspector. Her interests were hunting, trap and skeet shooting, and leather craft work.

Her wishes were for no memorial service. There will be a private family service at the Oregon Coast.

Preferred memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or The Minneapolis Animal care and Control.
