Minneapolis, MN, USA
life story
Mark was born September 10th, 1958, in St. Paul and lived most of his 66 years in Minneapolis. He peacefully passed away on February 13th, 2025.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Al and Betty Jeanson, brother Dave, sister Elizabeth Meyer, nephew Chad Meyer and God parents Walter and Esther Haas.
Survived by sisters Christine Thury, Malynn Stranger, Nancy Gunderson and Heidi Clemens (Scott), brothers Earl Jeanson (Kathy) and Jeffrey Jeanson. Many nieces, nephews and his very dear friend Nancy Corpe.
Mark grew up on the east side of St. Paul and after graduation from Harding High School, he joined the United States Air Force serving our country for three years. With an interest in medicine and a heart full of compassion, he furthered his education into nursing, specializing in Respiratory Care. He spent his career doing in-home respite care for children; he thoroughly enjoyed his patients and the opportunity to give them a more comfortable life. Mark was a big dog lover and throughout the years he was Dad to his girls Tasha, Molly, Sammy and Mazie; he teased those girls something fierce, but their love for him remained steady. Their favorite pastime was camping and the best place for that, the Minnesota North Shore. We will all miss Mark and find comfort believing he is back with his girls skipping rocks and walking the shoreline of beautiful Lake Superior. Rest in peace brother.
Mark will be buried with honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
