Mark Douglas Crammer, 68, passed away comfortably on Tuesday July 5, 2022 in Advanced Care Hospice Center of Las Vegas, NV.
Mark's life
Mark was born on September 19th 1953 to Douglas and Pat Crammer in Seattle, WA.
In his younger years, his rebellious spirit took Mark and his motorcycle to many places across the country. He worked in logging, construction, and tended bar in Montana. It was there he met another free, fun, and forgiving spirit, Patti Speece. They married in Lake Tahoe, CA in 1979 and relocated to Northern Minnesota to start their family.
Mark finished tech school and took a job with a robotics firm that moved them to Illinois and then Connecticut before they decided to return to Minnesota.
In 1990, Mark became a licensed Realtor in Hibbing, MN. Mark ultimately co-opened Village Realty, which is still in operation (under new ownership) today, as well as IMC Mortgage, which he and Patti ran together until her death in 1996.
After Patti's death, Mark moved to the Twin Cities area in 1999, and later to Colorado and ultimately Nevada. For a time in his final years, he was again the proud owner of a beautiful blue Harley Davidson motorcycle. In his final days he talked of wishing he could take a ride on his bike.
As his health declined and began to fail, his children, his sister Janet and his father and stepmother came from all corners of the country to be by his side.
He is preceded in death by his mother Pat, and his wife of 17 years, Patti.
He is survived by his father Doug (Kate) Crammer, his sisters Janet (Vernon) Vogel and Ann (David) Vaughn, his children Kelly (Michael) Madzey, Katie (Zak Shadid) Crammer, and Jason Crammer, and four grandchildren, Nora, Alex, & Rian Madzey and Sana Shadid.
