Mark Becker

A Loving Husband, Father, and Friend

Mark was born on November 11, 1961. He passed away at the age of 60 on August 1, 2022 after suffering a stroke the week before.

He was born to Roman and Donna Becker. He grew up on the family farm in Albertville, MN. He graduated in 1980 from STMA High School and attended Anoka Technical College for Machine Trades. After helping on the farm, he worked for 30 years at Wanner Engineering in Minneapolis, MN.

On June 16, 1990 he married Linda Bondhus. After they started their family, Mark was very proud of his three children Kalyn, Jared, and Ryan. He worked hard alongside Linda to support and love them, as well as raise them to love and serve our Creator, Jehovah.

Mark enjoyed taking care of his yard and other projects around the house. He found so much joy and satisfaction in using his ingenuity and creativity to solve problems he would encounter. Even after his first stroke in 2017, he always looked for ways to adapt to his new circumstances to be as capable and independent as possible. Mark also had a lot of fun making commemorative videos and slideshows to share with others. He loved his family and friends very much and enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and spending time with them.

There was nothing more important to Mark than his service to God. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 8th 1987. He was a diligent student of the Bible. He had a very regular routine of reading the Bible every day. Mark volunteered full time in the ministry as a pioneer for 9 years to help others to learn about Jehovah God’s loving qualities and his promises for the future. He also served as an elder in the congregation for 30 years. He worked tirelessly and unselfishly to assist others in any capacity he could. He was truly a selfless man who only thought of others.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Donna Becker and his sister LeAnn Becker. He is survived by his wife, Linda and children, Kalyn (Casey) Wolf, Jared (Destiny) Becker, and Ryan Becker. He is also survived by his siblings, Connie Mudge, Sharon (Greg) Zachman, Mike (Trudy) Becker, Diane (Scott) Johnson, Jane (Dan) Lynch, Carol (Neville) Goodwin, Bruce Becker, Alice (Lowell) Engstrom, Ramona (Tim) Belchak, Tim (Colleen) Becker. Mark was precious to many people and he will be missed immensely.
