About Marina

Our beloved, Marina Gaynell Robinson, age 58, of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, passed away on December 11, 2022.

Marina was born on September 28th, 1964, to Raymond Moore Sr. and Jerry Sue Dabney (George) in Cleveland Tennessee. She relocated to Minneapolis Minnesota with her family in 1975.

After attending Central High School, she went on to attend Minneapolis Community College. She worked in various fields but primarily in specialized manufacturing and customer relations. In 1985, Marina met Melvin Robinson Jr. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Marina and Melvin were married and went on to have one child, Melvin (Tre) Robinson III.

Marina was a person who was always full of joy and laughter. She had a beautiful bright smile and a warm spirit for all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bid-whist, attending cook outs, and just being together. The ultimate love of her life was her son Tre and her grandson Makai. They were unequivocally the center of her being. She was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never be forgotten.

Marina was predeceased by her husband Melvin Robinson Sr, her grandparents James Neal George Sr. and Royzetta T. George, her aunts Grace Jarrett, Cecil Harding, her uncles Paul George, James George Jr., Kenneth George, niece Nicole Moore, and her brother Michael Jay Moore. She is survived by her parents Raymond Moore Sr. and Jerry Sue Dabney, her son Melvin (Tre) Robinson III, her grandson Makai Robinson, her sisters Tammie Moore, Melanie Anderson (Tredant Anderson), Angelique Brown (Bernest Brown), LaSonya Goldstone, Consuela Dunn, Carole Moore, Danielle Moore, brothers Raymond Moore Jr, Marcus Moore and a host of other family members.
