Marguerite Bolton Smasal passed peacefully in Burnsville, Minnesota on Friday, May 21, 2021. Marguerite was born September 26, 1926 in Wenatchee, Washington. Her father was Richard “Dick” Bolton and mother Edna (Goss) Bolton.

Marguerite married Donald Smasal in Wenatchee and made their home in Withee, Wisconsin where they worked in farming for many years. They had 8 children Richard, Cary, William, Ronald, Yvonne, Randal, James, and Brenda and 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Marguerite was an avid pianist and loved music. She was an active member of Community Alliance Church where she made many close friends. She spent years raising her children and grandchildren, enjoying gardening, canning fruit and vegetables, riding horses, and loving her dog, Heidi.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her brothers Charlie and Kenny Bolton, her sisters Rose Bolton Stehr, Melba Bolton Luebber, and her son Ronald Smasal.

Services will be held at Community Alliance Church 111 S Division Street Withee, Wisconsin on Friday, June 11 at 11 am. (Visitation at 10 am).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Alliance Church
