In Loving Memory of Margie Kilen

Margie Kilen, a beloved mother, grandmother, and dedicated nurse, peacefully passed away on September 11, 2023, after an 11-year battle with dementia. She was born on August 15, 1940, in Bertha, Minnesota, to her parents, Violet and Walter Greenwaldt.

Margie's professional life was marked by her unwavering commitment to Northridge Nursing Home, where she served as a dedicated nurse for over 25 years.

Margie found joy in a variety of pastimes. She was known for her love of BBQs, and her gatherings with family were occasions of laughter and togetherness. She cherished moments spent at the lake, gardening and the thrill of gambling and the excitement of trying her luck. She always had high hopes of winning millions from the Powerball and loved the excitement of scratch off tickets and pull tabs.

Margie is reunited in death with her parents, Violet and Walter Greenwaldt, and her brothers, Jim, Harley, Cliff, and Archie. Their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Margie is survived by her brothers, Roger (Roberta), Robert (Carlotta), Tommy (Nita), and sister Marion, as well as her daughters, Sherry, Sheryl and Pam and her sons Roger and Kevin. Her legacy continues through her family, who will forever cherish the time spent together.

Margie's adoration extended to her numerous grandchildren: David (Rebecca), Stephanie (Jake),Eva (Sean), William (Shawna), Heidi (Nick), George (Sharrie), Melissa (Mike), Jennifer (David), Julia (Tyler) and Corey. Her great-grandchildren, Evan (Anna), Dustin (Kelly), Breah (Alex), Adrianna, Devin, Everett, Lilly, Nyah, Maria, Georgie, Mason, Delia, Maverick, Ace, Iris and Jax.

Margie's legacy is also carried forward by her great-great-grandchildren, Dexter, Skylar, Shawn, Maeva and Donald.

Margie Kilen's memory will forever be cherished. May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit alive in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
