life story

Her devotion to family and friends remained steadfast throughout her life. Whether through a heartfelt conversation or a warm embrace, Peggy’s presence was a source of comfort and strength. She lived an incredible life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty.

Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her bright blue eyes—often likened to the ocean—reflected the depth of her kindness and the joy she brought into every room.

All About Peggy

A lifelong fan of football—especially her beloved Kansas City Chiefs—Peggy never missed an opportunity to talk about the game. Her passion for sports was matched only by her sweet tooth, which she indulged with cheerful abandon. These simple joys were part of what made Peggy so endearing: she embraced life fully and shared that enthusiasm with those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Terri Phillips and Kenneth Phillips; her grandchildren Joshua Stillwell, Ryanna Walsh and wife Kelsey, and Jayme Wylie; and her great-granddaughter Leigha Gonzalez-Walsh. Peggy also leaves behind her brother Allen Buehler; her sister Nancy Buehler-Steiner; and her best friend since middle school, Mary-Ann Cockream.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Buehler and Ethel Faygas Buehler; her brother Frank “Sandy” Buehler; and her sister by love, Linda D. Ithal.
