Lynda "Penny" Carlson

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026 our beloved Penny left us peacefully to be reunited with her husband Tom, parents Albert and Catherine Theismann, sister Cathe Maca, brother Jim Theismann, father and mother-in-law Leonard and Margaret Carlson, nephew Jeff Chapman, and brothers-in-law George Maca and Hiney Tentis. Penny was born May 11, 1946 in Wabasha, Minnesota – the fifth of eight children. Penny married Tom, and raised three children: Molly (Rod) Olson, Wendy (Paul) Kocon, and Tom (Lea) Carlson. She and her children also welcomed Candee and Jeremy Ebeling and their children to their family. Penny dearly loved her grandchildren: Cody, Brady, Jenna, Stephanie, Zach, Kelsey, Lexi, and Dylan… and was looking forward to the arrival of two great-grandchildren this fall. She is also survived by her siblings Tom (Kelly) Theismann, Barb Tentis, Debbie (Ivan) Zenker, John (Sandy) Theismann, and Dan Theismann, sister-in-law Dar Theismann, sister-in-law Jean (Jim) Chapman, all of her nieces and nephews and many special family friends. A private celebration of Penny’s life is being planned for a later date.
