About Lyle

Lyle was born on August 29, 1953 in Albert Lea, MN, to Harold and Gloria (Alne) Frerichs. He grew up in many states including Colorado, Arizona, Iowa, and Minnesota. He graduated from Emmons High School in 1972. On September 3, 1977, he was united in marriage to Lori Evenson.

Lyle was a history buff. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee, family game nights, music, painting, cooking, genealogy, road trips, fishing and a good conversation. He took delight in being “Gramps” to his 3 grandsons.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Caleb (Wendy) Frerichs and Emily (Justin) Bronson; grandchildren, Remington, Oliver and Emmett; siblings, Lana Hanna, Lance Frerichs, Lon

Frerichs and Lisa (Ray) Schardijn; step-mother Margaret Frerichs; and step-siblings, Vicky (Dan) Robson, Sheryl Morgan and Jim (Patty) Hove; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Harold Frerichs and Gloria (Alne) Alcorn; Stepfather Dale Alcorn; and grandparents Onno and Elmina (Davis) Frerichs, Pedar and Mayme (Oswald) Alne.

Lyle touched many lives and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

The Celebration of Life for Lyle will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 21, 2021 for family and invited guests at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Forest Lake, MN. Live streaming of the service will be available on their website at www.hosannaforestlake.net/celebration-of-life. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Hosanna Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Albert Lea, MN on a later date.
