life story

Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother...

Luanne was born on May 2nd 1960 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Betty Lebowitz in Miami Florida USA.

Luanne was an accomplished artist who worked in various mediums and would often be found working on pieces such as paintings, junk art sculptures, and jewelry. She enjoyed gifting others with her art and loved to share her work.

She greatly enjoyed hobbies extending into all roots of science including engineering, maths, paleontology, chemistry, and agriculture. She would often do research, build experiments, teach others about chemicals and their practical uses, and loved to show her collection of fossils.

Her particular love of animals, insects, and the natural world was evident by the many pets (some exotic) she kept and raised, her various bug collections, and the plants and trees she grew throuout the years. She absolutely loved being outdoors.

All of these unique attributes combined with her quirky personality made her a genuine one of a kind character.

She will be missed.

She's survived by her husband Eduardo Alfonso, daughter Rebecca Ann (Joseph), grandson Rowan Paul Resnik, brother Gregory Lebowitz (Etel), and cousins Raymond Collins (Margaret) and Christopher Collins (Susan).
