About Louann

Louann Evelyn (Hiscock) Clifton, 73, longtime resident of Woodbury, MN passed away Thursday, August 31st, 2023, after living with pancreatic cancer. Louann was born on November 29, 1949, to Pierce & Wilma Hiscock in St. Charles, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Andy McShane, and Michael Hiscock.

Louann is survived by her loving husband of forty four years, David Clifton Sr., and her children, David Clifton Jr., Christina (Bjorn) Olson. She was a dedicated Grandma to her grandchildren, Tatiana (13), and Nikolai (5) Olson. Louann continues to be cherished by older sisters Patricia (Richard) Merrell, and Lois Hiscock.

Louann attended the Illinois Institute of Technology where she studied interior design. She met her husband, David Sr., while working together at an airport limousine service in the Chicago, IL area. Louann was a devoted mother to her children, David Jr. & Christina. She was a meticulous caretaker in her family home to adults with intellectual disability for forty four years. She was an avid antiquer and owned an antique store for many years. Louann will be remembered for her strong work ethic, sense of humor, and sweet disposition.

A celebration of life memorial service for family is planned for a later date.
