Lora Diane Golden (Carroll), 64, of Philippi, WV, passed away on April 15, 2024.

Diane was born on January 3, 1960, in Raleigh, NC, to John Thomas Carroll, Jr. (deceased) and Eloise Hayes Carroll (deceased). She is predeceased by her sister, Cindy Carroll Moore. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Thurston, Lora A. Golden (James), and Victoria Maxwell (Philip), as well as by her brothers and sisters, John Thomas Carroll III (Martha), Kim Carroll (Susan), Sherry Carroll Bass (Ronnie), Lecia Cox (Jerry), Melissa Carroll, and Dean Carroll, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

In lieu of a funeral, Diane requested that she be cremated and her ashes be scattered in Wilmington, NC at Johnnie Mercers Pier. There will be a private celebration of her life at Victoria's home in Evans, GA, which close family and friends are welcome to attend.
