Linda Kay Grandaw Obituary

Bloomington, MN – Linda Grandaw, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on June 19, 1959, in Minneapolis, MN, Linda lived a vibrant life filled with dedication, playfulness, and love for those around her. She was a woman of faith, finding strength and comfort in her spiritual beliefs.

Linda graduated from Roosevelt high school and spent her entire career at the dental office she cherished, assisting patients. Known for her whimsical personality, she brought joy to others with her thoughtful gift-giving, love of dining out, ability to bust out in song, and devotion to her beloved children.

Linda had a special place in her heart for her Lucy cats and was a collector of penguins, jewelry, salt&pepper shakers, bags, baskets, hats, and steins, each item reflecting her unique and lively spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hatcher (Tony LaLonde); her son, Steven Grandaw; her sister, Sharry Wiegand (Robert Wiegand); and her brothers, Larry Torkelson and Mickey Torkelson; as well as nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle “Ginger” Johanna Torkelson and Maurice O. Torkelson.
