The Epitome of Grace and Kindness
So, I'll sing Hallelujah
You were an angel in the shape of my mum
When I fell down, you'd be there holding me up
Spread your wings as you go
And when God takes you back
He'll say, "Hallelujah, you're home"

In Loving Memory of Linda Trandahl
With heavy heart, we announce the passing of Linda Trandahl, who left this world on February 13th, 2025, at the age of 76. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and friend to many.
Born on May 25th, 1948, in Alexandria, MN, to Ray & Connie Morse, Linda lived a life full of kindness, grace, and unwavering love for her family. She shared 54 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Richard (the infamous bass angler), building a life filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they raised three incredibly devoted daughters, Melissa (Dan) Nelson of River Falls, WI, Pamela Trandahl (Justin Dohlman) of Forest Lake, MN, and Amy (Bob) Lipski of White Bear Lake, MN, who were the joy of her life. She was also a proud and adoring grandmother to her five beloved grandchildren, Josie Nelson, Olivia Nelson, Wyatt Nelson, Ryan Franzwa, & Sophie Lipski, who brought her endless happiness and spoiled as much as she could. She was also proud to be the birth mother of Jeff Rex of Chandler, AZ.
Linda was a caring, thoughtful, and selfless woman who carried herself with class and grace. Her sparkling blue eyes shone with the most beautiful smile. She was genuinely happy for everyone’s victories and accomplishments and always made a point of asking you about yourself in a way that you knew she genuinely cared to know.
She shared a special bond with her mother, Connie, and sister, Cindy, with whom she would beam at an opportunity to enjoy shopping days, late-night catch-up sessions at Grandma’s kitchen table, long Sunday phone calls, girl’s trips to Hinckley, and always trying to beat each other to pay the bill.
No matter what she was doing, she touched the lives of those around her with her generosity, wisdom, and boundless love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the legacy of love she leaves behind.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Ray & Connie Morse, her brother Dick Morse, parents-in-law Harold & Elaine Trandahl, and niece Rachel Trandahl. She is survived by her devoted husband, children, and grandchildren; her sister, Cindy (Tim) Grabow of Brandon, MN; her brother-in-law, Ron (Camille) Trandahl; son Jeff Rex and his beautiful family; and nieces and nephews. A memorial to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at a later date to allow the family time to grieve.
Mom, you were our guiding light, source of strength, and the heart of our family. We will love you forever, and Dad will always “love you more.” Your example of selflessness blessed our lives infinitely.
