Levine Jasperson, 78, of Bagley, Minnesota died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Cornerstone Nursing and rehabilitation Center in Bagley, MN.

Levine was born on June 1, 1943 to Tilda and Arthur Jasperson. He was their second son and was soon joined by two sisters. Levine attended grades one through twelve in the Bagley School system graduating in 1961.

In 1962, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. While he was there, he had a reoccurrence of rheumatic fever, and was given an early release from the Army in 1964 because of his health issues.

Soon after his return to the United States, he moved to Arizona where he had a lawn service business for many years. While he was there, he met Evelyn Schwartz, and they were married on June 9, 1985.

A few years later, they moved back to Bagley, Minnesota. Levine was a quiet gentle man who was a care giver to both his wife and his mother. When they were both in the nursing home, he never missed a day without going to see them. His devotion to them went on until they both passed away.

Levine is survived by his brother – Dennis of New Prague, MN; his sister – June Young of Alexandria, MN; and daughter - Kandi Jasperson.

Levine was preceded in death by his parents, his sister - Julie and his wife – Evelyn.
