Les Armstrong

July 23, 1959 – May 2, 2025

Toronto, ON, Canada

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Alfred Armstrong, a cherished childhood and lifelong friend. Les passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, due to serious health complications.

Growing up in the Borough of York, Toronto, within the surrounding neighborhoods of Bert Robinson Park he was a remarkable athlete. Les remembered as a leader in sports, excelling from a young age to his adult years with his God-given talents and leading by example. A fierce competitor and a steadfast supporter of his mates, Les wore it as a badge of honour.

Our friend was a special person, known for his kind heart and competitive spirit. He enjoyed spending time with friends, often sharing laughter, even at his own expense.

Be it in the confines of an arena playing AAA hockey for the Toronto Red Wings or socializing with his friends at Caledonia Park, Les was truly one of a kind.

As we mourn his absence, let us honour Les with hearts filled with love and the countless cherished memories we created together from youth to adulthood.

Our friendship was a true blessing, and the memory of Les will forever remain in our hearts. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and many friends.

Rest in peace, our beloved childhood and lifelong friend, Les Armstrong.
