LeRoy (Lee) James Lind, 77, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the VA hospital in Minneapolis.

Born on December 10, 1948 in Hibbing, MN, to the late Waino and Shirley (Fox) Lind. A graduate from Robbinsdale High school, Lee proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and worked as an over-the-road truck driver.

Lee was known for his sassy personality, big heart, and big hugs. He had a passion for collecting hand-blown glass. Whether he was watching turkeys out the window or telling one of his stories about where he got a specific piece of glass, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by children, Karen, Kelli, Kris, Kari and Tara; and his many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Waino and Shirley Lind as well as his brother, John Lind.

Per Lee’s wishes a private family interment will be held at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
