Leander (Lee) E. Anderson

Leander (Lee) Edwin Anderson passed away on

June 18, 2022, with his wife of 56 years by his side.

Lee was born on July 5, 1937, in Red Wing, MN. He

grew up moving between Maiden Rock and Canada.

He was a fisherman, mechanic, farmer, county

worker, and an early riser. He served in the United

States Marine Corps from October 1957 to July 1961

and was honorably discharged. Family vacations

consisted of trips to Canada or Florida to see family

and to fish. He enjoyed picking on people

and joking around.

Lee is survived by his wife, Delores Anderson;

daughter, Kristen Anderson (Mark Hilden);

son, Timothy Anderson (Lindsey Kolnik);

grandchildren, Jane and Louisa Anderson;

brothers, Nordell and Sidney Anderson;

many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and

Annalies Anderson; sister, Alvina Geiger; brothers,

Bruce Anderson and Anton (Tony) Anderson
