Laurene Glader , age 90 of North Oaks, passed away peacefully October 27, 2025. Born in Minneapolis, Laurene live a life defined by unwavering faith in her savior Jesus Christ. Survived by her children Tim (Barbie) Glader, Sonja Langlie, Tom (Carol ) Glader, Mary (John) Hay; 14 Grand children, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Laurene was born January 15, 1935. She graduated from Hamline University School of Nursing Mounds Midway Unit. She practiced nursing at Midway hospital until 1981 when She and Gene bought and moved to Cascade Lodge in Grand Marais. In 2006 They sold the lodge and retired. Laurene loved playing the piano, sewing, laughing and being with family. She loved singing and was singing hymns right to the end of her life.

A Memorial service will be held on November 6th at 6:30 PM at Waverly Gardens 5919 Centerville Rd. North Oaks, MN reception following service.
