About Larry

Larry was born and grew up on a farm in Martin County. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and landed on Midway Island as an airplane mechanic.

He returned home to marry his first wife, Jean Schmidt. They adopted their son, Brad, but unfortunately Jean passed away.

Larry married Lu in 1977 and moved to St. Paul where they readopted each other's kids. They lived there until his death.

Larry did a number of jobs but ended up being a carpenter/locksmith for St. Louis Park Schools.

His hobbies were guns, guns and more guns, hunting and fishing. His favorite hangout was Billy's Victorian.

He will be missed by many, but especially by his family who will eventually join him in heaven someday.
