life story

Kolbi Noel Dolinar born January 10th, 1984 in Heber City Utah, to J.R. Dolinar and LeeAnna Meeks. A daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend. Passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2022 at Rocky Mountain Lodge in Heber City at the young age of 38 after a long hard battle with mental illness and addiction. It’s no secret that her life was not easy, and she finally lost her hardest fight, the fight against herself. She will be remembered by her sassy attitude, spirited facial expressions, and that damn snort when she laughed. She had such a bubbly personality and was always trying to lift others up. She will be greatly missed, and has been missed by many for awhile now.

Survived by her oldest daughter Sammi Steed, youngest daughter Skylarr Steed, only son Thomas Sharer, Father JR Dolinar, Step mother Tammy Dolinar, Grandmother Colette Prestwich, Siblings Alex McDonald, Kylee Meeks, Molly Sessions, Abby Dolinar, Rayce Dolinar, and first grandchild Wallen Jeffs.

Please let this be a reminder to everybody how important mental health is, and how substance abuse will only hurt those around you. You have people who care, and you have something to live for. Dying is no way to live.

We will never fully understand what is going on in other peoples heads.

If you’re not somebody who is struggling with mental health or substance abuse, but are dealing with a family member who is, please be kind to yourself. You can’t make somebody get help, the best you can do is let them know you care. Never feel guilty for choosing what’s best for yourself and/or your family.
