Kimberly "Kim" Kay Netland, 57, of Bagley, MN died on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Kim was born September 2,1966 in Bagley, Minnesota to Jimmy and Margaret (Strand) Berry. Growing up she attended Bagley schools, graduating High School in 1985. After graduation, Kim stayed in the area for work, where she met Allen Netland when he purchased her dad, Jimmy’s grocery store, “Jack and Jill”, and renamed it “Al’s Lakeside.” Kim and Allen Netland were married at Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley, MN on October 21, 1989. Kim worked at Itasca State Park for several years as a Customer Service Representative and Waitress. Oftentimes she worked multiple jobs to ensure her family had everything they needed.

In 2014, Kim received her first breast cancer diagnosis and continued to fight through five different diagnoses, until it ultimately took her life. Kim was an amazing cook, she was always hosting family meals filled with love and laughter. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kim was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include-

Significant other- Kevin Coats of Park Rapids, MN

Daughters- Chastine (David Wilde) Hastings of Fosston, MN; Mercedes (Alex) Jesness of Bagley, MN; Sydney (Alex Beaulieu) Netland of Bemidji, MN; and Ali Netland of Bagley, MN.

Son- Chase (Brityn Kiser) of Bemidji, MN.

Eight grandchildren- Addison, Delaney, Emma, Nash, RaeLynn, Wren, Kessler, and Bo.

Sister- Carol Berry of Willmar, MN

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jon and husband Allen.

Pastor Mark Olson will be officiating. Interment will be at the Bagley City Cemetery in Bagley, MN. Following the interment there will be a light luncheon served at the Irvin Blix American Legion of Bagley.
