Kent M. Millar, 57, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Kent was born on a very cold January night on the 27th, 1966 in Bemidji, MN, the son of Russell and Karen (Black) Millar. He attended school in Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji.

He was employed by Northdale Oil of Bemidji. He previously worked for Lakes Gas and Bemidji Oil and other jobs. He was always busy.

He loved his children, they were his life. He was proud of all four and enjoyed fishing with them when he could. He was a man of many talents. If something needed fixing, he was the man to call. He was also a talented carpenter. He loved the Lord and lived and raised his children accordingly. He was a wonderful father, son, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Shawn, Alena, Kyle, and Lillian Millar, mother, Karen Millar, and numerous nieces and nephews, Trisha, Triston, and Shelby Hutson, Kaylea, Reyna, Aoife, and Cecelia Sarratt, Mariah Tores, and Liam Millar, brothers, David and Michael Millar, and sister, Denise Miller, and special friend, Kristy Norland.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Millar, grandparents, Edward and Joyce (Rose) Millar and Leo Black and Betty Newell.
