Kenneth Om

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Om on December 10, 2024 at the age of 39 after a year long battle with cancer.

Kenneth was born on June 28, 1985 in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University and pursued a successful career as an electrical engineer. He lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew him.

Kenneth had a deep love for movies and cherished going out with friends and family to enjoy good food. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nephews and niece, sharing laughter, and playing pranks that brought joy to everyone around him.

Kenneth is survived by his husband, Minghui “Brian” Li, his brother, Kris Om, his mother, Aeja Om, and his father, Byungkuk Woo. He is predeceased by his father, Hans Om, and his grandmother, Bokhi Chang. Kenneth is further survived by many family and friends.

A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on December 14th at 10:00 AM at Lee’s Funeral Home. You can use the below links to send flowers for the service or donate to the family to help fund the funeral.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Gwinnett Northside Hospital for their care and support during Kenneth's final days.
