In Loving Memory of Kellie

Kellie Kae (Dickenson) Gruber, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026.

Born in Fairmount, Minnesota, Kellie graduated from St. Croix Central and went on to study at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, where she pursued a business administration and management degree. She lived a life centered around the people she loved, always putting her family and others before herself.

Kellie was one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet. Her strength, determination, and selflessness were a true reflection of the person she was. Kellie had a heart for everyone. She was a second mom to many, always willing to help, listen, or be there when someone needed her. She was a true giver who never hesitated to put others before herself. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor could brighten any room, and she had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed. Above all, Kellie’s greatest joy in life was her children. They were her everything. Being their mom was what she was most proud of.

Kellie is preceded in death by her husband David Gruber and parents, Joan (Leach) McCright and Lowell Dickenson. She is survived by her children, Ashley (Logan) Sharp, Allie (Jake) Peterson, and Austin Gruber; her siblings, Drew (Wannetta) Dickenson, Blake Dickenson, and Becky Dickenson; her grandson; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Please join us in celebrating Kellie’s life at Rudy’s Redeye Grill October 29, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Words of remembrance will begin at 6:00 PM, and light snacks will be provided.
