life story
Loving Wife, Mother (Mah), Grandmother (Gramma), & Great-Grandmother
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.
Your presence we miss, your memories we treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never.
About Kathy
Kathleen Marie Hupp (Ward), age 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, November 20, 2021. She was born April 6, 1951 to Edward and Jeanne (Knaeble) Ward. She met William G. Hupp when she was 18 years old, they married on May 17, 1974 and raised 6 children together. She worked for the US Postal Service for a number of years then proudly worked for the Brooklyn Park Police Dept. for 18 years until she retired on October 1, 2016. Kathy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and living at the cabin all summer with her fur baby, Angel. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way; she is loved and missed by many. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jeanne, sister Diane Ward, and brother Edward G. Ward, Jr. and was succeeded in death by her son-in-law Corey Chesler. She is survived by her husband Bill; her children Teresa Chesler, Lisa Hupp, Christy (Shane) Husarik, Kari (Steven) Mevissen, Jessica Hupp, and Billy Hupp; her sisters Barb (Bob) Ekeberg, Geri Midthus, and Mary Tripanier; her brother Edward A. (Tammy) Ward; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
