About Kathy

Kathleen Esther Adams, born February 3, 1944, went home to her heavenly Father on October 30, 2022.

Kathy was a loving mother who cherished her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by her family and spending time with them.

She was an avid gardener and had many beautiful flower gardens around her property. She loved animals, especially her shih-tzus, and cared for any animal that came her way.

Kathy had a crazy sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes on her children. She was a selfless person, always putting others before herself.

She had many hobbies and talents including ceramics, furniture restoration, collecting antiques and gardening. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and playing board games with her family.

Kathy is survived by her children: Laurie (Jim) Long, Rene Kirby, Christine (Joe) Mandola, Scott Kirby, Michele Kirby, Eric Kirby, and Jessica (Eric) Ramsdell, brothers, Carl “Bunky” (Elaine) Paa, Harry (Karen) Paa, sister Evelyn “Patsy” Fahey, and sister-in-law Deanna Paa, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special nephew, Albert Hammock.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Gordon Schroeck; sisters, Dorothy (Harvey) Schultz and Janet “Sis” Anderson; brothers, John (Lavonne) Paa , Charles “Butch” Paa; and Kenneth “Babe” Paa, and a grandson, Drake Ramsdell.
