1 Corinthians 4:17-18

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Kathleen Diane (Clapp) Hintz, daughter of Charles and Lucile Clapp, was born June 17th, 1958 at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. She graduated valedictorian from Hendricks High School in 1976 and later attended Willmer Community College where she received her RN training.

On April 20th, 1985, Kathy married Orrin Hintz in Marshall, MN before moving to the Twin Cities where she adopted Orrin's sons, Brian Hintz and Michael Hintz. Kathy later gave birth to a daughter, Jennifer (Hintz) Andrews.

Kathy loved people and found her life's calling as a home health care nurse where she dedicated the majority of her 45-year nursing career to comforting those most in need. The lasting impact she left on so many lives in her community echoes her hard work ethic, and her heart to always seek to be "excellent" in everything she did. Her service to others will be part of how she is remembered.

Kathy's faith was especially important to her. For over 40 years, she faithfully served her church as a member on the worship team, playing the piano/keyboard.

Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Clapp and nephew Cody Clapp.

She is survived by her husband, Orrin Hintz; children, Brian Hintz (Sarah), Michael Hintz (Tara) and Jennifer Andrews (David); granddaughters, Charis and Selah. Her parents, Charles and Lucielle Clapp. Brothers Kevin Clapp and John Clapp (Julie) and sister Eileen Steenhoven (Ray).
