Loving mom and grandma

Karen Marie Danz, age 75, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Karen was born July 12, 1946 in Newberry, MI, the daughter of Walter and Alva Folstad. She was raised and educated in Newberry.

Karen married Robert (Bob) Danz on April 2, 1966. She worked for many years for the City of Hilltop, MN and also for North Heights Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycle with Bob, collecting and reading through cookbooks, cooking a good Thanksgiving meal, eating the frosting off birthday cakes, celebrating Christmas, collecting gnomes later in life and spending time with family and friends.

Karen and Bob loved to attend North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills, MN and made many precious friends there. Karen and Bob loved Jesus and always tried to share their faith, kindness and generosity whenever possible.

She is survived by her sons Rob (Carrie) Danz of Andover, MN and Steve (Jaymi) Danz of Coon Rapids, MN and step-daughter Sheri (Larry) Nettleton of Nolensville, TN,

Grandchildren; Sidney Danz, Taylor Danz, Maddison Danz, Ashleigh Danz, Savannah Danz, Andrew (Ashley) Bakke, Emily Bakke,

Sister; Linda (Don) Flatt

and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob.
