About Judith

Judith (Strand) Tibbetts, age 82, of Bagley, was called home to meet God on February 28th, 2023 in Sanford Bagley Hospital from natural causes, surrounded by all of her loved ones.

Judith Tibbetts was born March 24th, 1940 in Duluth Minnesota. She was married to her husband, Alden Tibbetts for 28 years before he passed on June 3rd, 1988. She loved her family and loved God, and always made sure to help out anyone who needed it, even if she went without.

Judy was an avid reader who loved cooking, crafting and bingo. She never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy, and if you asked her, she would tell you she was the most underpaid winner of all time.

Judith Tibbetts is survived by her 5 sons: Robin Tibbetts (and his wife Deanna), Raymond Tibbetts (and his wife Connie), Richard Tibbetts, Royce Tibbetts, and Randy Tibbetts; Her brothers Dale, Jack and Jim Strand; Her sisters: Connie Swanson (Stand) and Darlene Gradeen (Strand); as well as her 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George James Strand and Lorna Irene (Waller) Strand; by her husband, Alden Tibbetts; by 1 granddaughter, Heather; by 1 grandson, Christopher; and by her siblings: Kenneth L Strand, Raymond A Strand, and Geraldine Anderson (Strand).

Funeral Services for Judith

Visitation will be one hour prior. There will be a light luncheon at Parkview Apartments to follow, for anyone who would like to share some memories of Judy. Interment will be held in the Spring at Minerva Cemetery in Minerva, Minnesota.
