Judith Karen Harms, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024 with

her children by her side. She was born April 29, 1942 at Sacred Heart Hospital,

in Eau Claire, WI to Alton and Kathryn (Rud) Mickelson.

Judy attended a one room school grade 1-3, and a 2 room school until 8 th

grade in Canton, WI. She graduated from Mondovi High School in 1960.

On June 19, 1965 she married the love of her life, Steven Joseph Harms at

Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi, WI and were married for 56 years.

Judy was selfless in her care and love for her family and friends. She made

sure everyone had enough to eat or if there was a need, she would drop

everything to meet it. Judy loved music and could play multiple instruments.

She loved watching sports, betting on horse races, and in her younger years,

riding horses, hop waltz with her dad, and was known as one of the best drag

racers in Mondovi. She also loved playing cards with her family and typically

would win 9 out of 10 times. Constituting her family nickname; Horseshoe.

She had a genuine unconditional love for her husband, children, and

grandkids that brought her the most joy. The love and importance of family is

the legacy that she leaves behind to us all.

Judy is survived by her 3 children and their spouses: Greg (Lisa), Kimberly (Phil)

Stewart, Jennifer Harms,

7 grandchildren: Lauren; Ashley; Megan; Harms. Cameron; Samson; Stewart.

Kathryn; Zackary; Pierce.

Sister: Charlotte and brother-in-law Ron Stecklein.

Nephew; Brett Stecklein. Grand Niece Ella, Grand Nephew, Nate

Many other relatives and close friends.

All of these she loved and touched deeply, and she will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Joseph Harms, parents, Alton

and Kathryn Mickelson, parents-in-law Fred and Frieda Harms, sister, Cynthia

Kay Mickelson and sister-in-law Betty Harms
