“Judy” A. Bittmann, 80, of Two Inlets, MN died peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at home.

Judy was born on October 6, 1941 in Chisholm, MN the daughter of Einar and Julia (Sertich) Holland.

She grew up and attended school in Chisholm where she graduated from high school in 1959. She went on to graduate from St. Scholastica in 1963 with a degree in medical records.

During college Judy worked at Itasca State Park. After college she moved to the Anoka area to work for the Anoka State Hospital from 1964 – 1970, as well as teaching at St. Mary’s Jr. College from 1965-1967.

She was united in marriage to Donald Bittmann on Feb. 8, 1964. Through their 58 year marriage she lived in Anoka, Cass Lake, and then moved to the Park Rapids/Two Inlets area in 1972 where they have resided since. She was member of the Eagles Club, the Park Rapids School Board, the local town board, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Judy always had a smile and was a master crafter from sewing to re-upholstery. Puzzles, crosswords and Suduko were favorites. She was a motorcycle and motorhome navigator and loved to travel the country and spend time at her favorite cabin on Little Sturgeon Lake near Chisholm.

Her kids were her priority, supporting them in all their activities, loved watching their sports, and took great pride with all the kids finishing college. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved playing cards and games with her grandkids.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband – Don; 2 daughters and 4 sons-Donna Hoiem, David (Nancy) Bittmann, Thomas (Beth) Bittmann, Dennis (Tracy) Bittmann, James (Wendy) Bittmann and Laurie (Rob) Nosbush;11 grandchildren - Matthew, Amanda, William, Allie, Eric, Andrew, and Lucas Bittmann, Jacob (Macy) Nosbush, and Sophia, Johanna and Mitchell Nosbush; her brothers – Rick (Mavis) Holland; Mike (Jane) Holland; and her husband Don’s family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin grandsons – Tyler and Derek.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 8 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church Friday, September 9 from 10:00 a.m. - 11 a.m.
