Josh Neeland, 45, of Bagley died on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

He was born on October 20, 1976 at Bagley, Minnesota the son of George and Martha (Gedstad) Neeland. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church. He attended Bagley Elementary and Bagley High School graduating in 1996.

Josh married Brenna Anderson on June 10, 2006 at Itasca State Park. Josh has worked at Real Stone, NCS, several Fiber Optic jobs, and was a backhoe operator.

He lived in Bagley his whole life and was a member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church. Josh’s favorite activity was attending all of his children sporting events, which made him very proud. Josh had many interests that included fishing, hunting, camping, ricing, cruising and grilling. He loved to laugh with his friends and hang out with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother – Martha “Marty” Neeland

Brothers – Jacob Neeland, Jared (Angela) Neeland, Nathan Oliver, Robert Oliver and Allen Nass.

Sister – Chi Pedigo

Children – Joshua, Breelee, George and Raider Neeland

Step-children – Creedan, Teigen and Synnova

Fiancé – Wendy Irwin

Aunts – Wanda, Teri, Joy, Randi (Bob) and Mia (Quinn)

Uncles – Brian (Faye) and Aaron

Numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his father – George Neeland; his wife – Brenna Neeland; Grandparents – Robert & Sophie Neeland and Don & Maxine Gedstad; Aunts – Penny and April.

Funeral Services for Joh

June 16, 2022

Location: Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake, Minnesota. A wake will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15 at the Rice Lake Community Center and continue until the time of service. Interment will be held at the Bagley City Cemetery.
