Josh Wayne Smith, age 38, of Olivet, Michigan, passed away on November 13, 2025.

Josh was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his wife and daughters. Whether he was casting a line on a quiet lake or laughing with the people he loved most, Josh found joy in simple moments and shared that joy generously with others. Fishing was his favorite pastime, and he treasured the peace it brought him—especially when shared with family.

Josh is survived by his loving wife, Lainey, and daughters, Trinity, Ryleigh, and Lydia, who were the light of his life. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his sense of humor, and the deep love he held for his family.

A memorial gathering to honor Josh’s life will be held on November 30th at The Village in Bellevue. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the memories and legacy he leaves behind.

Josh will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
