Joseph Edward Zinkan, 33, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on June 6, 2026. Born on February 13, 1993, Joseph was known for his vibrant personality and artistic talents.

About Joe

Joseph attended Elkhart Memorial High School. Throughout his life he developed a passion for the arts from his mother that he carried throughout his life. He was a talented tattoo artist and also enjoyed drawing, playing guitar, and skateboarding. His youthful days were filled with joyous times playing video games and helping his father in the garage. Joseph also enjoyed camping and spending time in nature.

Joseph was described by those who knew him as funny, encouraging, and down to earth. His strong will and ability to listen made him a supportive friend and beloved family member.

He is survived by his daughters, Guadalupe, Astrid, Aaylah, Wynifer Zinkan; sisters, Stephanie Silk and Shennendoah Hoffer; and brother, Thomas Zinkan. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, David Reese Zinkan, and mother, Ava Denice Sanders.

A celebration of life will be held at Bonnieville Mills Baldwin One Room School 15336 Co Rd 131, Bristol, IN 46507 from 4-7 pm June 26th, where family and friends can share memories and honor his life.
