He loved you "more than you know"

We grieve, we mourn. And we rejoice in the gift of his life.

Joseph Dick Wieseler of Burnsville passed away Friday, September 27th while surrounded by his family and friends.

It is not easy to put a man of so few words into words. Compassionate and patient. A man of many interests. These are the words that best describe Joe.

Joe’s love to serve others was seen in his choice of profession. Joe opened his own Filling Station in the 60’s, served in the Minnesota National Guard, served as a Police Officer for the City of Minneapolis, and worked as a realtor and in the auto industry.

Joe’s passion for life was seen through his many hobbies; training horses, photography, traveling, archery, roller skating, ballroom dancing, flying airplanes, and creating personalized pens. He was an avid reader and a lover of music.

Joe had a heart to rescue those in need: animals, children, the homeless.

Joe's compassion and love manifested itself in his relationships with his wife and children.

His wife, Patti felt she was blessed with a new beginning as she and Joe embraced their marriage (2004) and blended family.

All who had a place in Joe’s heart were blessed to receive his bounty. Joe’s memory will live on through our lives and in our hearts forever.

Joe is survived by his wife Patti (2004), oldest to youngest children: Jerry, Robin (Ross) Narragon, Diann (Guy) Chaffee, Bret (Erica), Heath (Geri), Kim (Daryl) Bonderson, John Hayes, Andrea (Grant) Frey, Matt (Mary) Hayes, sister Patty Persons, 19 grandchildren and, 23 great-grandchildren.
